| For this reason, there is no need to buy more than one baby carrier and you save money. The Infant Insert is cushioned, extra soft, and can be formed into the desired shape quickly.
POSITIONS
With the Infant Insert, the baby can be carried in the generally recommended spread-squat-position as well as in the cradle position.
In the cradle position, the child is carried in the same position as when the mother or father carries him/her directly in their arms. Also, the baby's bum is fixed in a lying/sitting position, resulting in an ideal relief of strain for the still very sensitive spine and hips. This cradle position is not to be confused with the normal lying position in a cradle.
However, we always recommend the spread-squat-position in the infant insert, especially in the case of hip dysplasia.
NURSING
Nursing a baby in the Infant Insert is very simple and comfortable. In order to preserve your privacy you can use the ERGObaby Carrier headrest.
