A bell-shaped silicon cup that is worn internally to collect your menstrual fluids. It has health and environmental advantages over other menstrual products. It is not absorbent, doesn't disrupt natural vaginal acidity or moisture levels, or expose you to bleach, glues, or gels. The Mooncup is made from silicon (which is made from sand) and should last around least ten years, so there is no monthly waste.
The mooncup is simple to use:
1. Fold the cup vertically
2. Insert until the base is about half an inch inside the entrance of the vagina. 3. Rotate the Mooncup to ensure it has unfolded, then tug gently on the stem for a snug seal.
To empty it, gently pinch the base of the cup, and remove. The fluids remain inside the cup - empty the contents into the toilet, rinse well or wipe, and reinsert. Emptying it every six to twelve hours is enough.
Any concerns that the Keeper is messy to use will vanish after a few days of using it. It can be worn day & night, and during activities like swimming, dancing, cycling, etc.
Type A is recommended for women who have given birth vaginally or who have had a caesarean section and aged 30 or above.
Type B is recommended for women who have not given birth or who have had a caesarean section and aged below 30.
