Natracare make non chlorine bleached sanitary towels and pant liners and organic cotton tampons.

During pregnancy you may need to use a pant liner. If so it does make sense to use ones which contain as few chemical as possible. After birth you will need to use maternity pads, again if you don't want to use washable pads then using Natracare unbleached pads is better for you and the environment. For hospital it is advisable to pack at least 2 packs, plus keep a few at home. It is possible that you will continue to bleed for around 6 weeks after you give birth.
